William David Black

Mr. William David Black, 73, of Albany, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at his home. Due to precautions surrounding COVID-19, there will be no services. Born August 2, 1947, in Eastman, GA, David was the son of the late Charles and Annie Cason Black. He worked for several years as a truck driver and painter. He loved his Harley, boat, and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William Devlin Black and siblings, Hershel, Russell, and Virginia. Survivors include his beloved wife, Debra Black of Albany; children, Melody Black and Ike of Florida, Kimberly Thomas of Pennsylvania, Misty Black of Tennessee and Amanda Catrett and Cameron of Albany, GA; his sister, Jessi Taylor of Baxley, GA; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
