William Donald Dent

Mr. William Donald Dent, 49, of Albany, passed away, Thursday, November 6, 2014 at his home while surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., November 8, 2014 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Ricky McFarlin will officiate with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Born August 17, 1965 in Augusta, Mr. Dent was the son of the late James Mills Dent and Marilyn White Dent. Before his declining health he had worked in construction as a supervisor for JSC Construction. He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing. More than anything Mr. Dent loved spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, William and Angela Dent of Mitchell County; daughter, Julia Dawn Dent of Mitchell County; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Tracey Dent of Mitchell County and Jesse and Sarah Dent of Waleska; sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Dale Hubbard of Mitchell County; 5 grandchildren and his beloved dog, Nevaeh.
