William Douglas Peterson

Mr. William Douglas Peterson, 54, of Albany, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 3, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Berea Full Gospel Church 1111 5th Avenue Albany, GA 31707. Cremation will follow the service. Born September 10, 1957 in Savannah, Doug was the son of the late William Henry Peterson and Mary Frances Price Peterson. He was a self employed Mechanic and was a member of Berea Full Gospel Church of Albany. Doug's main love in life was going to church and he was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his brother, William Billy Edward Peterson and wife, Lynn of Bradenton, FL; sisters, Betty Ann Watson of Albany, Susan Ann Priester and husband, Richard of Austell, GA, Virginia Ann Ball of Jonesville, VA, Mary Ann Peterson of Jonesville, VA, Stephanie Jean Allen of Bristol, VA and Claire Lousie Barnett of Jonesville, VA; uncle, William Bill Price and wife, Ernestine of Putney; aunt, Joyce Harrell and husband, Bruce of Sylvester; two long time friends, Margret Barrett and Ann Lawson. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6th at Berea Full Gospel Church. Hall and Hall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
